Your time is valuable so I wanted you to see what others had to say before investing the time to watch.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: This blog article was originally written on World MS Day 2022
I have slightly edited it but left most of it as is.
I hope it provides you with some inspiration and self reflection in your own life no matter where you're at in your journey.

Despite what some of you may think about my energy on video ( some people love it others sometime think I talk too loud) it's always coming form a place of passion and it does not always come naturally to me, I have my moments just like everyone else where I feel down and need to find ways to lift my energy.
Besides a great exercise workout, one of my favorite ways to get inspired to create meaningful motivational videos is to listen to music or watch underdog or comeback movies.
Nothing is more powerful to me than following a main character or cast of characters chasing after their dreams and persevering despite being met by adversity, setbacks, lo...

It has been really fun to watch Michael progress through the MS Gym programs, ASK FOR HELP from his fellow MS Gym members and moderator team who have gone through the exercise programs, and APPLY the guidance he received.
Here is a summary of MICHAEL’S program progression, and his posted questions to the members only corner that led him to success:
Phase 1: SEATED MOBILITY TRAINING
He began his healing journey with the program called BGB BOOT CAMP. This program focuses on improving joint mobility in Key joints needed for movement, deep core strengthening, upper and lower body mobility strength, and neurologic integration in the brain.

Phase 2: RECONNECT
Michael built on his progress using our seated and supine strength training and mobility program designed to re-activate the muscles needed to sit taller, stand up, and walk with restored balance.

Phase 3: BGB STRONG
Michael’s series of victories started happening because his brain le...

| Today is both Memorial Day and World MS day. Some years I have been super motivated to go on video and do an inspirational video. This year I'm in more of a quiet reflective space. Nothing is more powerful to me than following a main character or cast of characters chasing after their dreams and persevering despite being met by adversity, setbacks, loss, discouragement, and failures on the way to their destiny (just like my Gymmers). An all-time favorite underdog movie of both my biz partner Ken... |
Check out this handful of the many inspiring posts/victories /testimonials that occurred this week.
It's particularly special to me because on May 15th of 2017 ( 5 years ago) I officially announced I would be opening the MS Gym and doing my first live video.

Last week, I did something I hadn’t done in 18 years: walk a mile, or 3,600 steps. Yup, I counted every step. They were spread out over ninety minutes through the course of a day, to be clear, but the time on my feet was over twice what I had previously managed with trekking poles and 25% more than I’d ever managed with a rollator. I’ve had aggressive MS for 26 years and needed a wheelchair outdoors for 18 years, so any improvement was from swimming against a strong current.
I’m still in disbelief, not that I met this milestone, but that I hadn’t been planning it and my body wasn’t suffering the day after from muscle cramps and spasms, signs of compensation and poor form. And the next day, before I’d released any kinks from sleep, I did my timed walking trial at record speed (without my glasses even) and walked before noon as many minutes (40) as I’d managed in a full day just days before. Just now, I walked this much before 9:30 a.m. From twelve hours d...

What’s up Gymmers,
So, I just had a really cool conversation with my wife Misty about what it takes to really make change in your life and it comes down to ONE WORD… AWARENESS.
I’ll get to what that means, but first you need context.
Misty has recently found HER love for exercise.
She has started working out at a place that does a cool workout of 20 minutes spinning (indoor cycling), 20 minutes strength training, and 20 minutes of Yoga.
She’s crushing it and I’m so proud of her.
In fact, last weekend she completed 100 miles of cycling over a month.

Now you may be thinking, “How can Misty not just ‘naturally’ love exercise? Isn’t that included in the ‘Coach T’ marriage vows?”
Well, in fact, my bride is one of the HARDEST people for me to motivate.
Misty, who is as sweet as sweet can be, can also be a STUBBORN woman.
During a “passionate conversation” she and I were having about how she NEEDED (in Coach T’s opinion) to start exercising to reduce ...

Kellie’s post is SO awesome.
Read this…

Wow right?
Breast Cancer, Mastectomy, complications, surgery TWICE IN 24 HOURS…
BUT KELLIE KNEW WHAT TO DO
- Use her core to move
- Think through her lessons on how to reduce leg tremors
- Use her movement practice to walk instead of lying in her bed
- BREATHING to keep her body fueled and calm so it could heal and use less medication
- Keep her mind STRONG through a very challenging and scary time
This is what we do in THE MS GYM.
It’s not about doing a workout program.
The MS GYM will build you into A STRONGER HUMAN so you can persevere and endure through the tough stuff in life despite carrying MS ON YOUR BACK.
I’m super proud of Kellie and all my Gymmers for their strength, resiliency, and hard work.
In today’s movement minute, I want to work on the KEY movement skill you can do to reduce pain, counteract spasticity, and eliminate fatigue … BREATHIN...
