Awareness month, who cares?

March 2nd ,2022

It's Wednesday afternoon and after a busy morning of filming new content for our YouTube channel, I'm taking a break here in Starbucks.

My throat is a bit sore and voice a bit hoarse for all the filming so I'm sipping on a soothing Venti Chai Latte.

Today I have a lot on my mind so I'm just going to get right into it.

In case you were not aware, this month is MS awareness month.

I have to be honest, I feel like "awareness" is becoming a buzzword used by many pharmaceutical and medical companies to promote their organization, yet they offer no STEP BY STEP solutions to guide people with MS in their healing process.

Just to be clear, I am all for 'awareness.'

I think people need to understand MS and definitely share more compassion and assistance to people with MS.

However, if you have MS, you're AWARE THAT YOU HAVE IT every day.

What people with MS REALLY NEED are:

- Symptom management strategies
- Lifestyle planning strategies
- Education on how to COUNTERACT MS SYMPTOMS
- Structured exercise programs
- Structured nutrition programs
- Step by Step Stress management programs
- Mental health programs
- Family counseling and empowerment programs

I feel that in addition to MS AWARENESS MONTH (which is for people without MS to better understand and assist you) -

You deserve an MS ACTION MONTH!

Why can't the BILLION dollar pharmaceutical or large MS organizations use more of the money they raise to put on FREE EVENTS all month long to expose the GLOBAL MS COMMUNITY to possible solutions for them?

Why is NOT enough money being used to help people pay for LIFE NEEDS (food, wheel chairs, home repair, counseling, exercise programs, etc.) while they research a cure?

The percentage of money that goes toward a cure vs. helping people NOW is completely out of balance.

I'll be honest here, my biz partner Ken and I shake our heads every time another MS AWARENESS non-profit or pharma-backed group pops up in our Facebook feed with no real solutions for you.

How many groups can we keep up with in a week without them consuming our PRECIOUS TIME, ENERGY, AND NEUROLOGIC RESERVE?

You need to focus on HEALING YOUR BRAIN, not more information about MS.

I want less talk AND MORE ACTION in the MS community.

That is why I created the MS Gym.

I couldn't stand how underserved the GLOBAL MS COMMUNITY was.

Sure, there was a lot of 'Information' being dispensed but, there was NO exercise platform that provided a STEP BY STEP PLAN to help you move better, think better, know better, feel better, and LIVE BETTER QUALITY LIVES.

And I couldn't let another day go by when I KNEW I could help.

My biz partner Ken and I have are so fortunate to LIVE in a constant state of MS 'awareness' because we serve the people we PASSIONATELY LOVE every single day.

We are aware of what you need because we do life alongside our GYMMERS day in, day out and will continue to do so.

We serve the MS community every single day and most of our internal team/staff have MS ( we have always hired form within )

In addition, Ken's dad is suffering from Parkinson's and has many of the same mobility issues our MS community faces.

We live it with you...

We want to see MORE IMPACT which is why we work our tails off to deliver the BEST LIFESTYLE PROGRAMMING to help our MS ATHLETES live a life by DESIGN and not by diagnosis.
